Membership Privileges, Fees, and How to Apply

(For "Under 30" Memberships, please scroll down.)

Regular Membership Privileges
Members may fish in the pond and use the club facilities anytime from opening day (generally in late April) until closing day, (generally the last weekend in October.) Members may also use the club grounds in the off season to hunt and cross-country ski, though the clubhouse is not open after closing day. There are generally one or two ice fishing weekends for members. These weekends must be approved by the Board of Directors.

Spouses, families, and guests are also allowed to use all the club facilities, provided the club member is present at the time.

Members can rent up to two rooms in the Club House. Members can also apply in advance to the Board of Directors for the use of up to four rooms. The Board may authorize such use provided no other Club members have reserved the fourth room. No club member can monopolize the use of the rooms or the clubhouse.

With prior permission from the Board of Directors, meetings and other functions can also be held at the club on weekdays. In the past, for example, the Vermont Foresters have held business meetings there.

Fees
Members whose application has been accepted make a one-time stock purchase of a single share of stock for $250. Should the member ever decide to end the membership, the stock purchase is fully refundable.

Dues are set annually by the Board of Directors. The 2010 dues are currently set at $1,350. Dues are generally billed out in February or March, and are payable in up to two installments, one by April 15, and the second by June 15.

Spouses
Spouses of members, and their guests, can use the club facilities without the Club Member being present. Spouses must be present at the club in order for their guests to use the facilities.

"Under 30" Memberships -- $350 annually.
The Club also allows for six additional "Under 30" memberships, over and above the 60 regular memberships. These memberships are reserved for new members between the ages of 21 and 30 years old. These "Under 30" members would be allowed one guest per club visit, and that guest must also fall in the age range of 21 to 30.

Such memberships may be held a maximum of 3 years, renewed by the board on a yearly basis. They are revocable if misused. "Under 30" members have the same fish quotas as regular members.

"Under 30" membership also requires that these members put in one day and night of caretaking at the club on a weekend, or one day helping on a scheduled work detail.

The cost of an "Under 30" membership is currently set at $350 annually. No stock purchase is required.
