The House Committee is looking for donations to improve the clubhouse. Here is their "wish list". People with items or money to donate please contact Don Neely (donald.j.neely@Hitchcock.ORG) or call the club.

1. Donations to refurbish the other bedrooms like the North center room under the attic stairs that Gennie Lawrence did last year. The improvements included two bedside wall lamps, small area rug and pad, clothes pole and shelf, box spring cover sheet, winter-weight blanket, summer weight blanket, replacement curtains, and painted chimney.
2. Period Dresser, Bureau, or Chest of Drawers.
3. Donations toward a hanging light fixture for the dining room
4. Sturdy single and double beds and fresh mattresses and box springs.
5. Stickley or Mission style oak bookcases with glass doors for the Hall to house classic fishing and outdoor sports books and periodicals (such as Gray's Journal), which will be donated when mouse-proof accommodations are acquired.
6. Period Night Tables 36" high.
7. Two small Cafe Tables about 3' square for two people do dine on the porch (or donations for same). There are tables available that match recently purchased porch chairs)
8. Area rugs about 3'x5' to 6'x9' to go in the bedrooms.
 
Donated items will be vetted for suitability and put into service or put into the Meccawe Auction at the Annual Meeting, together with other surplus items we turned up in the annual house cleaning and survey.
